What to Expect

What to Expect

Salem Baptist Chapel is a reformed Baptist church that upholds the Holy scriptures composed of the old and new testaments as the inerrant word of God. We subscribe to the 1689 Baptist confession of faith. Our services are fairly traditional and formal. They are nonetheless joyous occasions when God’s people gather to worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. We use two hymnals, (Psalms and Hymns and Christian Worship), at Salem one for Sunday and the other for the midweek services. We use the King James Version of the bible as we believe that it is still a grander version in comparison to many of the modern English bible versions.

Our dress code for worship is generally formal but we do not turn any away who are dressed less formally.

Our services are as follows:-

Sunday:

Morning – Teaching Service 11.00am.

Afternoon – Sunday School 3.00pm.

Evening – Gospel Service 6.00pm.

In the Week:

Tuesday – Bible Study 7.00pm by Zoom only until further notice.
